A final word from your (retiring) Editor
OIML BULLETIN - VOLUME LXV - NUMBER 4 - October 2024
Dear Readers of the OIML Bulletin,
Dear Authors and Mentors,
Dear Friends,
After just over 28 years of editing and producing the OIML Bulletin, managing the OIML website, and carrying out a number of other editing, support and communications roles at the BIML, as some of you may already know I will be retiring at the end of 2024.
This edition of the Bulletin, the 108th that I have edited and produced since I took over the role of Editor when I joined the BIML in the summer of 1996, will therefore be my last!
I would therefore like to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation to all the authors and mentors who have contributed so much to the OIML Bulletin over the years. So many subjects have been covered, and there has been a huge degree of enthusiasm on the part of all those who have contributed. Thank you all for sharing your experiences, for imparting your knowledge, and for supporting the Bulletin.
I have learnt a lot from the vast number of articles we have published and the fields we have covered over these years and I have very much enjoyed working with everyone involved.
A special thank you as well to my BIML colleague Luis Mussio - his knowledge, patience and availability in explaining to me certain technical concepts in both the Bulletin and in certain OIML Recommendations over many years has been invaluable.
I wish you all well for the future - thank you again, and au revoir !
With my best wishes,
Chris Pulham
Editor / Webmaster, BIML
