Uninterruptible power supply (UPS)

 

The International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML) is seeking proposals from suitably qualified and experienced entities for the supply and installation of an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) unit to support the Organisation’s server installation.

1 - About the OIML

The OIML is an intergovernmental treaty organisation, established in 1955 in order to promote the global harmonization of legal metrology procedures that underpin and facilitate international trade.
The OIML develops model regulations, International Recommendations, and related publications for use by legal metrology authorities and industry.

Membership of the OIML includes Member States, and Corresponding Members.

2 - Essential requirements

Replacement of a UPS unit at the organisation’s headquarters in Paris, France.

3 - Technical specifications

Technical specifications include the following.

UPS equipment:

  • Managed 5KVA UPS and battery
  • 19” rack mountable, maximum dimensions 9U
  • Input voltage AC 230 V
  • Output voltage AC 230 V
  • Output connectors 8 x power supplies IEC 60320 C13 and 2 x power supplies IEC 60320 C119
  • Network RJ45 (Ethernet 10/100/1000)

Installation services:

  • Dismantling and deactivation of the old UPS
  • Racking of new UPS and batteries
  • Wiring and independent electrical connection

 4 - Responding to this request for tender

Proposals from submitting entities should include:

  • Information on how the submitting entity proposes to supply and install a UPS unit, and its ability to satisfy both the essential requirements and the technical specifications of this request for tender.
  • An overview of the submitting entity, including its corporate structure, experience with and knowledge of the product, guarantees offered, warranties provided and product and client support. The cost for the supply and installation of the UPS unit.
  • A statement that this request for tender has been read and understood in its entirety.
  • A statement regarding any conflict(s) of interest.
  • The details of any confidentiality requirements(s).
  • Any other relevant information.

The OIML reserves the right to modify, suspend, reissue or terminate this request for tender at any time.
