Preparation of material and courses on digitalisation in legal metrology
At its 58th meeting, the CIML approved the DTG’s plan for the development of a roadmap based on the outcomes of the Seminar “The future of the OIML in the digital era” (held on 16 October 2023 in Chiang Mai, Thailand).
At the December 2023 meeting, the DTG confirmed the recommendations by the DTG Steering Committee regarding the initial steps of a DTG roadmap. One important element of the implementation of the roadmap is the establishment of a sub-committee “e-Learning” for the preparation of material and courses on digitalisation in legal metrology. Catharina Kulka-Peschke (Germany) was announced as preliminary convener.
The overall aim of the sub-committee is the development of high-quality e-learning courses on digitalisation in legal metrology to be distributed via the OIML platform.
The sub-committee is approaching DTG Members, the RLMO Roundtable, CEEMS AG, OIML Project Groups and external partners to gather material and needs for an initial course on fundamental principles.
